About "Us"

Hi! My name is Kris Harper and I'd like to tell you a little about how all of this started. Harper's Home Improvements was born in 2020 out of my necessity to find work when my 20 year career as a musician came to a screeching halt during the pandemic. Thankfully, I've been "handy" all my life. I won't say I was born with a hammer in my hand, but it's hard to remember a time when I didn't have some sort of project going. From simple woodworking to whole home renovation projects with skilled friends and family in the trades, I've been fortunate to amass a wide range of skills necessary for this work. I was happy to apply these acquired skills and experiential wisdom to launch this business and help others outside of my circle. It's been especially rewarding to help those who have projects maybe a little too involved for the typical "handyman", but too small for a larger contractor.
